The Belgian economy has largely recovered from the impact of the coronavirus pandemic, according to a report published by the Federal Public Service Economy. The authors of the report cite high vaccination rates as one of the key reasons for the recovery. Earlier predictions by independent organisations had a much gloomier outlook, predicting an economic downturn until at least 2023.
