Copenhagen is known for being one of the most LGBT+ friendly cities. It was appointed as the most gay-friendly place on earth by Lonely Planet in 2017. However, there isn’t a bucket of gold at the end of the rainbow. Instead of gold, the transgender community is a group that is forgotten or disapproved of by the majority of the Danes. 21bis-reporters Hanna Daniels and Zoë Depoorter went to figure things out for the Reporting the city series.
