Nobody who lives in the 21st century can escape plastics. Roughly 100 years after its invention, plastic has had an unprecedented impact on both the planet and the beings living on it. The synthetic material finds its way into every aspect of our lives. We eat it, drink it and breathe it in. So what can we do? Can we find a way to live without plastic? What does plastic do to our bodies? What can we do to help clean up our environment?

With the help of environmental activists and scientists like Dirk Groot and Jana Asselman, I tried to find the answers, solutions and compromises to these questions.
