Unfinished Spring, a Syrian woman’s story through struggle and exile: “The revolution is not a choice, it’s a duty”
Unfinished Spring tells the story of Razan Horia, a young Syrian woman who, like so many of her generation, dared to hope for change and paid the highest price for her future. Her journey reflects not only her own sacrifice, but also that of countless young people whose voices were silenced, whose homes were destroyed, and whose identities were forever reshaped by the revolution.
Through Razan’s deeply personal memories, this documentary reveals the intimate, emotional, and generational cost of revolution. It shows how the promise of freedom can demand everything: family ties are severed, a past is left behind, and an identity is transformed in exile.
Unfinished Spring is more than a story of one woman; it is a portrait of a generation caught between the weight of sacrifice and the hope for a change that remains incomplete. It asks us to reflect on what it means to give everything for a dream that has not yet come true, and what is left when a revolution never reaches its end.
