According to the most recent PISA test, secondary students are deteriorating in reading, science and mathematics. The results are based on a survey made by OECD, the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, in 31 countries. The level of Flemish education has decreased a lot since 3 years ago. Conny Van den Brande, a math teacher at the Thomas More University of applied sciences in Mechelen, feels that motivation also plays an important factor.
