When the first trailer for Maestro was released, controversy around lead actor Bradley Cooper’s stereotypical “Jewish” appearance took the internet by storm. Cooper wears a prostethic nose in order to resemble famous composer Leonard Bernstein better, seen as offensive to some. The question remains: should actors be allowed to physically alter their appearance to portray someone?
