Located in Mechelen, Natalia Latysh is an artist who contributes to a diverse artistic community. Originally from Ukraine, Natalia fled her home country at the onset of the war and found refuge in Mechelen, bringing her artistic talent with her.

With her music, Sofya Qessa tries to heal the wounds of her turbulent childhood. Born to first generation immigrant parents she was taught that emotions were to be kept, not shared. Now, she uses her art to show her children it’s okay to cry.

België stuurt weer een Engelstalig lied naar het Eurovisiesongfestival. Wordt het niet eens tijd dat we een Nederlandstalig lied sturen? We moeten trotser zijn op onze Vlaamse taal.
